Beacons
The report researching existing and potential beacon sites and viewing points across the EPIP area is now completed. The EPIP board are currently looking at recommendations and more information will follow as soon as possible. The aim is to create a network of Beacons which will signal over long distances and will hopefully encourage visitors to the area. Events around the Beacons may be planned in the future to increase interest. Bolsterstone Community Group was awarded a grant to install a beacon on their village field which was officially opened by the Lord and Lady Mayor of Sheffield during July.
